Common Signs:
Brief Description:
AS (Aspergers Syndrome) is a very hard condition to live with. Socially it's debilitating because inside you want to be able to socialise, but however hard you try for some reason you act like your totally socially retarded (no offence to Aspies reading this). But you aren't really. From experience I can say the harder people with Aspergers try the more they mess up. The more pressure that's put on us the more likely we are to slip up socially. I can tell you one thing though, Aspies are good people. Being an Aspie you feel very guilty if you do something that could upset a person. Even a little lie can eat away at you. For the people who are wary of them there's no need to be. I'm not just saying that because I'm an Aspie. I'm saying that because I've had experience with others who I've met from this site. Running the site has made me understand more about Aspergers Syndrome. I'm hoping through this Aspergers Awareness campaign that I can open a few eyes and change a few things.
Some of the names people call Asperger Suffers:
And there are many more I can think of that I was called when I was bullied by other children my age.
Note: If you are an Asperger reading this then I'm sure you can relate to this.
