Welcome to A.S.S.G.O

AS Support Group Online

My son has AS and I was recently told he also had depression. However, i am concerned that no-one has attempted to enquire with either myself or my son about how he feels in different situations; about if he feels under pressure, or how he sees situations instead of making assumptions based on how we see things. My son is very consciencious, always follows rules rigidly. He works hard at school and as a result making mistakes or being different upset him. I feel he has been given this diagnosis and no matter where I turn for help or advice on stress or anxiety I am pushed back to the same people and depression. I am having to do all the work to find any info myself and so I feel I am probably missing out on help for him as I can't access it if I am not told about it.
