Dyslexia

People with dyslexia may find some of these things differcult:

Reading - Seeing letters of words in correct order.


Writing - Write letters wrong way round. Writing things down in wrong order.


Spelling - Remembering how to spell words. Actually not good at remembering things either.


Tasks involving money, recall, retrieval and association.


Communication.


Hearing instructions.


Difficulties or inconsistences with retaining info.


Difficulty repeating digits or order or in long sequences.


Difficulty with polysyllabic words.


Confusion with words that look or sound similar.


Confusion with letters, shapes or sounds.


Mismatch between apparant capabilities and performance.


Issues with left or right or tellling time.


Losing place when reading or reciting things.


Difficulties copying information down when it's seen or heard.


Struggles with mental match (i.e matching wrong names with faces).


Feelings of being treated inappropriately or misunderstood.


Unpleasent feelings or memories of school.
