She covers her school days from hell up until her dealings with the police and how she came to be carted off to a mental hospital. She was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome at 17 years old. Justice for people with AS and other Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
Why should we suffer for society squeezing us all with rules and regulations? How on earth are we suppose to follow them? We are socially unable to? Our petition has been devised to meet society half way. So please help us out by signing. It would be helpful if you could see it from this the prespective we see it from but none of us can explain things well. Just imagine if you kept getting in trouble for something that you couldn't help. Treated like a proper criminal and had to have your life put on hold which isn't helping you at all. It sends you in to spiralling depression and eventually you can't sleep. Why should people be punished for something they can't help? Why should they live in fear? Why should they be scared of the police coming to pick them up every five minutes. Also having your whole life shattered due to a problem you had that people just left you to cope with. This petition is made to get us help not punishment. It's not fair to be put in prison when all you've done is be yourself with your odd little quirks that society doesn't want to understand. For the sake of a lot of peoples futures including the founder of this web sites future sign the petition. We can at least try to change government guidelines. It's better to try and not succeed rather than never of tried at all. Please help us by signing the petition to save our futures.
